During my basic surgical training I was involved in various academic activities of the department like Weekly seminars, journal club, symposiums, monthly clinical meetings conducted by ASI, and Monthly CME conducted by the Dept.of General Surgery and IMA.
We are having regular surgical audit on last Saturday of every month and evaluate the operative procedures done. And any modifications based on results compared to standard procedures.
I did Dissertation on Critical Appraisal of Duodenal Ulcer Perforation During my basic surgical training as a part of training I had and opportunity to teach the undergraduates in the form of beside clinics, case presentation s and examination of patients and also theory lectures. I had an opportunity to teach students of Nursing in India systems of Medicine on various surgical topics. When I am doing Clinical Registrar and Surgical Registrar posts I taught my juniors and DNB students,
As an Assistant professor in the surgical gastroenterology department at Nizam’s Institute of medical sciences Hyderabad I am teaching DNB G.I. surgery residents, Fellowship residents, and senior residents, Bachelor of Physiotherapy students and B.Sc. Nursing students

• Multicenter, Double blind, Randomized, Comparison study of the efficacy and safety of Tigecycline to Imipenem/Cilastatin to treat Complicated intra-Abdominal Infections in Hospitalized Subjects.
• Multicenter, Double blind, Randomized, Comparison study of the efficacy and safety of Tigecycline to Imipenem/Cilastatin to treat Complicated Skin and Soft tissue Infections in Hospitalized Subjects.
• Isolation of islets and ductal stem cells for human pancreas – in collaboration with Centre for cellular and molecular biology, (CCMB) Hyderabad.
• A randomized open label, multicenter phase IV study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of magnex (Cefoperazone-sulbactum in comparison with Ceftazidime plus Amikacin and Metronidazole in the treatment of Intra-abdominal infections—Pfizer.
• Phase III Randomized, double-blind study of Ceftobiprole versus Vancomycin in the treatment of complicated skin and skin structure infections-basilea.
• A Phase II Double blind placebo-controlled Multi-center Adjuvant trial of the efficacy, Immunogenicity, and safety of gi-400: and Inactivated recombinant SACCHAROMYCES CERVISIAE Expressing mutant RAS protein combined with a GEMCITABINE regimen versus a GEMCITABINE regimen with placebo, in patients with post resection R0/R1 pancreatic cancer with tumor sequence confirmation of RAS mutations.

Presently working in Yashoda hospitals(Malakpet), previously worked in the Dept. Of Surgical Gastroenterology NIMS as Assistant Professor Surgical Gastroenterology. Did many complex surgical gastroenterology procedures... I am very much interested in doing hepato-biliary surgery... Intrested in sharing my experience with young surgeons and colleagues, trained many young surgeons, delivered lectures in the State and National confernces , CME programmes and published articles. Conducted clinical trials and actively participated in research work. Conducted CME programmes and confernces during my tenure as Assistant Professor in the Dept. Of Surgical Gastroenterology NIMS. Active member in conducting ASI national conferences in Hyderabad ASICON 2004 and ASICON 2014. Regularly attending all the ASI state and SURGICAL GASROENTEROLOGY National confences. Presented many papers in the State and National confences, Conducting General Surgery P.G. Quiz for the last 12 years for the young budding surgeons
